Dream of country living in Wakefield, Quebec dies

by admin on March 23, 2011

The Editor,

I live in a log home in Wakefield, Quebec and owe my existence to trees, but the activities I see around me lately are so alarming I might have to hug a tree-hugger.

Golden tamarack trees in a valley obscured by an 80,000-square-foot box and a four-lane highway behind it to add to the majesty make me think the dream has died.

I will have to move to the country!
