Employer fined in case of Chelsea, Quebec worker crushed to death

Quebec’s occupational health and safety board has identified two causes in the death of a 62-year-old man in a work-related accident in Chelsea last year and has fined the employer for unsafe practices.

Jean-Guy Samson, a 62-year-old employee with Entreprises Dumouchel, was crushed beneath two containers that he was loading on a tractor-trailer May 5, 2011. He was taken  to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Click to continue
