by admin on December 2, 2010

High-speed Internet will be up and running in Farm Point i Chelsea, Quebec next spring, the Low Down recently learned.

Bell Canada will begin installing its equipment on the corner of ch. St-Clement and Hwy 105 within the next two to four weeks.

While a news release has yet to be released, the Low Down confirmed that Bell Canada’s  plans for High Speed at Farm Point are in the works. At press time, we had not yet received any more details from Bell.

“We’re very close to having this in writing,” says Chelsea Councillor Celine Brault.

Farm Point, referred to as “the black hole,” is the only community in Chelsea without High Speed Internet. Nearby Wakefield and Masham already have the service.
