More and more protesters are showing up to Brown Lake Road in Wakefield, Quebec to protest the Hwy 5 project. About 40 A5X protesters were on site this morning with  a handful of them sitting high up in the old pine tree the group is trying to save. Nobody knows when construction crews and protesters will come face to face, but it is believed that the province’s transport ministry (MTQ) will get an injunction to legally remove the protesters from the premises at some point today.

Get out of there, our people are being held hostage by you!
I recognized a few from the Echo Eco group. Always the same positive gang!
Bring solutions to make things better for our region. This road will help develop this area and the northern Gatineaus which are in dire need of sustainable jobs.
