Keith Nesbitt of Wakefield, Quebec has died. The well-known businessman in the village, who ran the Wakefield General Store, was on his way to a condominium in Florida when he died. He was 82.

Nesbitt also became a national figure when he led the charge against Quebec’s language sign laws in the late 1980s. It’s tough news for the Nesbitt family, as Keith’s daugter Keitha died of cancer in early February.
