Despite his chronic health issues, Wakefield Coun. Louis Rompre has said he’ll run again in the Nov. 3 election.
Rompre made the surprising announcement during a broadcast radio interview with the Low Down on the pirated station set up for the Wakefest arts weekend Aug. 23-25.
He said he’s “99 per cent sure” he’s going to run again.
Rompre has been battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – an illness that took him away from his open mike nights at Kaffe 1870 and his candle-making business. Click to continue
