Mulvihill Lake in Gatineau Park

In the mid 1940s, Basil Mulvihill hollowed out a part of Gatineau Park to build a lake. This was met with great opposition from former Prime Minister William Lyon MacKenzie King, who launched a lawsuit against Mulvihill. The lawsuit never made it to court, as King died a year later.
