Moses Haussler currently holds the world record for the most Wasylena’s Man-made Ukrainian Perogies eaten during a single sitting. It’s 20 – set when the 16-year-old Wakefielder once scarfed a whole bag of them.

Those who think 20 perogies constitute a normal meal should take a quick peek at one of Wasylena’s specialities. They’re about twice the size of a normal Cheemo Perogie.

Oh yeah, Haussler also slam-dunked the coleslaw, bacon and onions that came with the perogies – all of them smothered in milky sour cream.

“I love them so much, I was like, ‘How much can I eat?’ ” said Haussler, smearing a knife loaded with sour cream over a fresh batch of cheese, potatoes and the new flavour, sauerkraut perogies. Click to continue
