Police are looking to identify this man as an accomplice to Pierre Bourgoin. The pair allegedly duped Beausoleil Home Hardware in Wakefield out of $300.

Pierre Bourgoin, 49, of Montreal was identified as the fraudster who duped Beausoleil Home Hardware in Wakefield out of $300 on Jan. 17.

After the video surveillance photos of Bourgoin went viral, investigators learned that he had committed several other  fraud-related crimes in the Outaouais region.

In every incident, Bourgoin would take items off the shelves without the employees noticing before returning them without a receipt for reimbursement.

He is wanted by several Quebec police services.

The accomplice:

New information has recently come to light about a possible accomplice. Surveillance footage has the unidentified man entering the store a few seconds before Bourgoin and goes straight to an employee to inquire about the store’s owner.
