barry-schwerdfegerThird (or is it fourth) time’s a charm! Wakefield, Quebec’s Barry Schwerdfeger is this month’s winner of the Low Down Lens photo contest. His charming picture “First Snow on La Peche river” earned him 147 votes online from the public. The amateur photographer has entered a few of our contests and come close, so congratulations on talent and determination. He wins dinner for four at Le Resto in Chelsea, Quebec.
In second was Chelsea, Quebec’s Geoffrey Ferguson with 120 votes for “Musie Loop Pond in Chelsea”. And in third place was Philippa Maitland’s “Betty reading Rowan

Contest theme “The Great Outdoors” proved a popular one with lots of really outstanding entries – narrowed down to a Top Ten by photographer Harry Nowell – and garnering 434 online voters.
