The Stobert Wine Report

prosser-susan-headshot-for-webWelcome to a new column /  blog by Christina Stobert of Wakefield, Quebec.

Sommelier and manager of the Wakefield Mill restaurant Christina Stobert review depanneur wines (mostly cheap, mostly horrible depanneur wines) for the Gatineau Hills country folk who can’t always make it to the fancy liquor store before closing. (And when that supply runs out, she just might be forced to review the drinkable ones from the SAQ.)

we are in need of depanneurs in Nova Scotia. the only cheap wines we can get are in a big bottle and the first half don’t taste so good. what can we do?
