Family activities, market, baseball and more as Chelsea Days returns

The Chelsea Days event is back this year with a series of fun and family-friendly activities for residents of the municipality. The weekend-long event will take place from June 3 to 4 and will consist of over a dozen planned activities.

On Saturday, June 3, the family activity fair at Chelsea town hall will consist of various games, face painting, inflatable structures, a picnic area, and more. There will also be a tailgate sale at St. Mary Magdalene Church and free rental of paddle boards and electric and mountain bikes from Nomades du Park. The event includes an outdoor market at both the Hollow Glen community centre and the Maison Chiropratique Petits et Grands, and an exhibition entitled, “Migration: The Printmaking” at La Fab sur Mill, displaying works of eight local printmakers.

The distribution of free tree seedlings by the municipality, as well as baseball games in the centre village and an open house at St. Stephen’s Parish will occur on both days of the Chelsea Days event. On Sunday June 4 only, there will be a garage sale held on Jean Paul Lemieux, Emily Carr and Marc-Aurèle Fortin roads.

More information on the program of this two-day event can be found on Chelsea’s municipal website.
