It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcel Sigouin on February 25, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta, in his 75th year.
Cherished father to his daughter, Amy-Rose Sigouin, he is also survived by his two brothers, Jim of Prince George, British Columbia, and John of Ottawa, Ontario.
While living in Wakefield, Quebec, Marcel worked as a salesman for Jones Packaging Association for many years. For most of his retirement, he lived comfortably in his log home up on Ch. Mahon and was surrounded by close friends enjoying his days playing guitar in his music room. An avid garage sale enthusiast, his love of guitars and playing the blues earned him the nickname “Bulldog.” He spent the last few years with his daughter making lasting memories that will be in their hearts forever.
His easy-going, loving, kind personality, smile, and laughter will be missed by many. May he rest in everlasting peace.
