It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of François (Frank) Pierre Gagné, at the age of 88, at the Wakefield Memorial Hospital on April 22nd, 2024. Loving husband of Doris Elaine Fournier; caring Dad of François Edgar (ami de coeur Rachel) and Adèle Miriam; adoring Grand-papa of granddaughter Marie-Pier Renaud. Son of late Louis Gagné and late Alice Normand. He also leaves brothers and sisters: Leopold (Lorraine), Jean-Louis (Lisette), Gilbert (Claudette), Vienna (Denis), Louisiana (Raymond), Marguerite (Walter), Maxime and Gilles (Véronique) and sister-in-law Diane (late Laird McGarry). He is predeceased by his sister Rose-Marie (Gilbert) and three brothers: Richard (late Hilda), Raymond (late friend Huguette) and Carmel (Rachelle). Frank also leaves many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McGarry Memorial Chapel, 176 Route 105, Wakefield, QC, on Saturday, May 4th. Family will receive condolences from 12 noon until time of service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at the columbarium immediately after the service. Light refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Wakefield Memorial Hospital would be much appreciated.
