~ October 4, 1939 - September 30, 2023 ~
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Angus (Gus) White, on September 30, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta. Angus was born in Wakefield on October 4, 1939, later settling in Chelsea and opening White’s Garage. In 1978, the family moved to Calgary where he continued to work on heavy equipment. He was always quick to tell a joke and have a laugh.
Gus is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen and his sons, Chris (Karen) and Dan (Gillian) and 6 grandchildren: Brandon, Cole, Chelsea, Caitlin, Cassidy and Sarah.
A celebration of life will be held at the Community Hall in Rupert, QC on Friday, October 20 at 2pm.
